Why I love

Making Art!

On most days, you will find me making art! For my career, on commission, for a gift, to relieve stress, or just for fun.

For me making art is not a passive leisure, it's a necessity.

Collage

I love making collage artworks, especially with baseball cards and other found papers, because it feels like I'm giving forgotten pieces a new life. There's a thrill in sifting through discarded ephemera, discovering unexpected textures, colors, and fragments of stories. Each baseball card, with its vibrant graphics and worn edges, holds a tiny piece of history, and combining them with old ticket stubs, newspaper clippings, or faded photographs creates a dialogue between past and present. It's a playful process of deconstruction and reconstruction, where I can experiment with composition and narrative, transforming what was once overlooked into something entirely new and visually exciting.

Murals & Paint

Painting allows me to bring my imagination to life, whether it's on a vast mural or a small canvas. The versatility of different mediums is incredibly exciting; from the fluid transparency of watercolors to the bold, opaque strokes of acrylics and the vibrant, quick-drying nature of tempera paints, each offers a unique way to express myself. There's a profound joy in seeing a blank surface transform with color and form, especially when it's a mural that can impact an entire space and community.
